무역학과에서는 WTO출범에 따른 국제무역환경의 변화와 함께 세계화·정보화의 추세가 급속히 진전됨에 따라 세계시장의 글로벌화에 능동적으로 대처하는 동시에 국가적 수요에 부응한 국제무역·통상, 국제경영, 무역실무분야에서의 학문적 소양을 갖추기 위해 국제무역현상에 대한 이해, 학문적 연구, 외국어 교육의 강화, 실천적 산학협동 프로그램의 개발 및 실행으로 진취적으로 유능한 전문 국제 무역인의 양성을 교육목표로 하고 있다.

The Department of International Trade trains students to be well equipped with theory and practical knowledge about international trade in order to meet social demands for an expert on international trade in the present multilateral trading system called the WTO(World Trade Oragenization).
For this purpose, the curriculum of this department is designed to provide a range of course in such fields as theory and policy of international trade.
